Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data Asset District collects, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are. In short: we collect only what we need to send you what you asked for, run our programs and understand our ads. We never sell your data.
01Who we are
Asset District is the consulting brand of Katarina Rašković, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of data protection law, Katarina Rašković (trading as Asset District) is the controller of your personal data.

02What we collect
- Identity and contact: first name, last name, email address. A phone number only if you asked to join our private community.
- Applications: your answers when you apply for The First Move or Scale, for example your country, your idea or business, and the help you are looking for.
- Purchases: what you bought, the price and the date. Lemon Squeezy shares this with us so we can deliver the product. We never see or store your card details.
- Email activity: whether you open or click our emails, and your email preferences.
- Where you came from: the ad or link that brought you to the site (UTM parameters) and the first page you landed on.
- Technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address. Collected by cookieless analytics, and by the Meta Pixel only if you accept cookies.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive data such as health information, religion or political views. Please don't include it in applications.
03How we use it and why
We only use your data when we have a legal basis for it:

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. Every application is read by Katarina.
05Advertising on Meta
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you accept cookies, the Meta Pixel tells Meta which pages you visited and whether you signed up, applied or bought. We may also upload subscriber emails to Meta in hashed (scrambled) form to build Custom Audiences, and Meta may use them to find similar people (Lookalike Audiences).
Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can limit how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can decline cookies on this site.
06Emails
The weekly letter is sent only after you confirm your email (double opt-in). Free downloads are emailed to you straight away because you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to katarina@assetdistrict.com.
If you apply for a program without ticking the newsletter box, you will only receive emails about your application.
08International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside the EU/EEA, the UK or the UAE, mainly in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law allows, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
09How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Applications: 2 years from the application, unless you become a client.
- Client work: for the program and 2 years after it ends.
- Purchase and tax records: 7 years.
- Email conversations: 2 years from the last message.
10Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, so card details never reach our servers. Access keys to our services are stored as protected server settings, never in the website code, and only Katarina has access to the accounts that hold your data.
If a data breach ever puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay, as the law requires.
11Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, UAE, US and others), you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop or limit using it, including for marketing;
- send it to you or another service in a common format;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect anything done before).
Write to katarina@assetdistrict.com. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority in your EU country, the ICO in the UK, or the UAE Data Office.
US residents: we do not sell personal information. Data reaches Meta for advertising only if you accept cookies; declining cookies opts you out.
12Children
This website and our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.
13Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date. If the change is significant, subscribers will also be told by email.
